Judith Denkinger
PADI Advanced

Currently works as a Professor of Marine Ecology at the University of San Francisco de Quito, and spends a lot of time at the University facilities on San Cristobal . She has been a diver since 1984, and has a special interest in marine mammals. She is a board member of the Nazca Institute of Marine Science, which is dedicated to research of marine ecosystems, and are currently spearheading the creation of a marine reserve on continental Ecuador.





Roberto Pépolas
Padi Instructor

Roby is a professional diver (certified by the Ecuadorian Navy) who has worked at the Charles Darwin Foundation since 2002 as Head of Dive Operations. He has a vast amount of experience diving in Galapagos, and has participated in research, tourism and film cruises.





Jonathan Green
Galapagos Dive Guide III

Was born in 1962 in England and graduated Bachelor of Sciences, Geology with Geography from North London University, 1984. He traveled and lived in France and Spain for four years, before joining the Naturalist Guides course in the Galapagos in 1988.





Rob Grimstone
PADI Dive Master

Rob arrived in Galapagos in 2000. He has extensive diving experience around the world, including Thailand and the Red Sea , but became enamoured of the Galapagos underwater world, and has settled in the islands. He works as a naturalist guide, on live-aboard cruise vessels. He is currently working on various underwater film projects.





Jorge García
Dive Master SDI

Was born and raised in Galapagos alongside Lonesome George and raised on sea lion milk! He has spent most of his life on or under the ocean. He studied environmental management and ecology, and has a special interest in whale sharks and their movement patterns through the archipelago.





Giancarlo Toti
Advanced Open Water Instructor, SSSI, TDI, SDI

Has dived in Galapagos since 1999. He originally came to the islands as Dive Officer for the Charles Darwin Foundation. He now works as a dive guide on several live-aboard tour vessels.
